It's finally December!! I think I've been waiting for this month all year long. It is the time and month that we celebrate Jesus' birth. A time to be with family and sing in rejoicing! We set up ore tree and put the lights on... you know the drill!! In fact, my family just put ours up last night! It was fun to do, just as it is every year!! Christmas music going in the background made it even better!! It's snowing outside!!! The white flakes of snow falling from the sky and landing on anything that it can get to. Then, if it is just right...you can pack the snow and make a snowman that stands in your front yard and smiles. Well... thanksgiving is coming and you know what that means!! Going to grandma's for lunch and the other side of the family for dinner!! But really it is the time to give thanks and thank God for all we have and for what He has given us! If you think about it long enough...your list of people and things to be thankful for...never ends.God has given us everything that we need and could have...be thankful and praise God!! It's fun when a thunderstorm is going on and my sister and I are babysitting.Each time we hear thunder and see the lighting flash...we tell the kids that it is God, moving His furniture to make room for us and the lighting is God testing the lights!! They laugh each time we tell them that and say it them selfs!! It is nice to tell them that all that noise is God. It helps them not to be scared and understand that God id always watching over us!!...Now then...what do we say to them when the tornado siren goes off?! Ha ha ha!!! Even i get scared over it!!! I could tell them that it God dusting!! But that would only work if there WAS a tornado!! Ha ha ha!! Any suggestions?! God is good all the time!!! He is watch over us too!!!
Proverbs 19:1-5-- Better a poor man whose walk is blameless that a fool whose lips are perverse. It is not good to have zeal without knowledge, nor to be hasty and miss the way. When I read this, the first thing that comes to my mind is, God loves me no matter what!! He is always at our side there to lead us when we are wrong, He is there to always be our friend, He is there to help us learn from our mistakes and tell us what is right. God is here with us, and will never leave our side!!
Just to be myself... I kind-of am in the mood for just sitting back and doing nothing. I'll tell you, you may become this way when there is snow on the ground!! You want to sit back and do NOTHING!! Yet, there is work to be done!
